  • to provide service to parishes in areas of religious formation;

Resource Library

 

ATTENTION
The Adult Faith Office and Resource Library web page is undergoing reconstruction. Visit this site frequently for updated pages containing information about diocesan programs coordinated by the Adult Faith Office and information about materials available for circulation and borrowing from the Resource Library.

Library Reclassification

The Resource Centre’s holdings are being reclassified according to the Dewey Classification System. Under the new classification system, with few exceptions, all materials will be available for borrowing by individuals or parishes. Books, audio and video tapes, and CDs have been available for circulation since September 2004.

Books, videos, CDs and cassettes may be borrowed free of charge from the resource library, open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Distance Education

The Adult Faith Office coordinates opportunities for ministry in the Christian community by way of distance education. Opportunities for ministry education exist in the fields of Pastoral Ministry, Adult Religious Education and Theological Studies. These programs are delivered locally with the assistance of a mentor through St. Francis Xavier University  and the University of Winnipeg.
