Journey Through Advent 2024

December 2, 2024

Each video in the series serves as an introduction to the liturgical season of Advent and presents reflections on the Gospel readings for each Sunday leading up to Christmas. This year’s spiritual reflections are delivered by the Most Reverend Frank Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto (in English), and the Most Reverend René Guay, Bishop of Chicoutimi (in French). Beginning today, Monday, 25 November, and every Monday in Advent, the video for the upcoming Sunday will be made available on the CCCB website and YouTube Channel. Hope Beyond Loss – Salt and Light Media

November 17, 2025

When we remember our departed loved ones, we feel sadness, and that is human. Yet as Christians, as Catholics, we believe in hope. All month long, Salt + Light Media invites you to share in prayerful remembrance of your departed loved ones. Their names and your intentions will be included in a televised Mass for the Faithful Departed celebrated by Fr. Haig Chahinian, and will be remembered throughout the month of November. Together, we honour their memory, give thanks for their lives, and entrust them to God’s infinite mercy.

After The Resurrection – Salt and Light Media

October 20, 2025

After the Resurrection, John was the first to recognize Jesus: “It is the Lord!” He remembered. Start a small practice to help you remember God’s blessings — a gratitude journal, a crucifix in your room, or a simple prayer of thanks each night.
